Standard Fix – Repair & Warranty Policy

At Standard Fix, we provide professional repair services for mobile phones, tablets, and laptops. Our goal is to deliver reliable repairs, high-quality service, and transparent warranty coverage for our customers.

Device Damage & Warranty Responsibility

  • Pre-Existing Damage: Any damage or issue present on the device before repair (e.g., cracks, scratches, water/liquid damage, or other faults) is not covered under warranty. Standard Fix will not accept warranty claims for pre-existing damage.

  • Post-Repair Customer Damage: After repair, any damage caused by the customer (e.g., drops, spills, misuse, or accidental damage) voids the warranty for that part or service.

  • Technician Responsibility: If any damage occurs during repair by our technicians, Standard Fix will provide free repair or replacement.

  • Condition on Return: All devices are returned in the same condition as received, except for the repaired issue.

  • Limitations: Warranty does not cover liquid damage, accidental damage, misuse, or unauthorized repairs, whether the damage occurred before or after repair.

Notes:

  • Warranty covers manufacturing defects or installation issues only.

  • Warranty does not cover accidental drops, liquid spills, or misuse.

  • Warranty claims require inspection at Standard Fix authorized service centers.

Inspection Requirement & Diagnostic Fee

  • All warranty claims must be inspected at Standard Fix authorized service centers.

  • Customers are required to pay a £20 diagnostic fee for warranty inspection.

  • The diagnostic fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether the warranty is approved or not.

Customer Guidelines

  1. Keep your device safe: Devices with pre-existing damage or misuse may not be eligible for warranty.

  2. Original packaging recommended: For mail-in repairs, use secure packaging to prevent damage during shipping.

  3. Approval before repair: Standard Fix will always explain repair options, costs, and part types before starting.

  4. Authorized service only: Warranty is valid only at Standard Fix authorized service centers. Unauthorized repairs void warranty.
